Design and development of SS'17 and SS'18 eyewear promotion collection for a fast fashion retailer, targeting Asian market. The selected styles are based on relevant high summer key trends dominating Chinese, South Korean and Japanese fashion scene.

Objective

The focus of the collection lies on a long-term design and buying strategy that prioritises seasonless classic pieces in high-quality acetate materials. Classic shapes with a sophisticated touch are refined through minimalistic metal details that inspire longevity and bring a sense of authenticity to
timeless pieces. Color gradients applied to lenses, tortoisehell materials combined with metal wire frames and cutout details add further novelty appeal to commercial items.
