Known for its sleek and minimalist aesthetic, DW is a Swedish brand offering timeless accessories. High quality products defined by elegant lines, designs that will stand the test of time and an outstanding value for money proposition to the customer build the signature of the brand.
In order to launch a handbag collection for women, initial task of the case study is to create a mood board that presents a vision of the collection and to convince key stakeholders from various departments to proceed in this direction. As a second step a product proposal based on vision and collection mood should be created, specifying material, key details and features.

Objective


A handbag collection targeting a classic and contemporary woman, looking to add a little vibrancy and sparkle through complementary and timeless pieces to her wardrobe. The core focus lies on luxury minimalism with contemporary appeal, pairing luxe leathers with simple details. The design proposal is a SLG set consisting of entry price point level items with premium packaging as a ‘value for money’ proposition to the DW customer.
